About

Background

The Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme is one of New Zealand’s most respected rural leadership programmes and has been operating since 1979. Many of NZ’s Primary Industry leaders are alumni of this programme and credit it for giving them the skills, confidence and motivation to take the next step.

Why an Alumni Summit?

There has previously been no vehicle to get Kellogg cohorts across years together or to provide regular communications that keep people in touch with the programme and each other. As part of an alumni engagement strategy this inaugural Kellogg Alumni Summit will provide the vehicle to reconnect our alumni but also to add an opportunity to refresh and reinvigorate personal leadership outcomes.

What is the Focus?

The Summit will stay true to the Kellogg vision of “developing leaders for the sector by providing them with the skills, tools and confidence to take on roles and providing the environment and support for others to grow as leaders”.

The programme is deliberately designed as one day of solid content with networking and learning add opportunities.  There are also optional add-ons to further enhance the Summit experience.

The programme content reflects focus on personal development rather than industry technical or sector issues which are covered in other industry conferences.

The programme is built around the key themes of Reconnect – Refresh - Reinvigorate
